A: It starts with a conversation! You can reach out via our [Contact Page] with your ideas, dimensions, and preferred timber. We’ll discuss the design, provide a quote, and once a deposit is placed, we’ll source the perfect slab to begin your project. 

A: Quality craftsmanship takes time. Generally, small items like serving boards take 1–2 weeks, while large custom furniture (like dining or river tables) typically takes 6–10 weeks depending on our current workshop schedule and the curing time required for resin. 

A: Absolutely. We love involving clients in the process. For larger commissions, we can send photos of available timber slabs or arrange a time for you to visit the workshop and select the specific grain and character you prefer.

A: Yes. We use high-quality, professional-grade epoxy resin that is non-toxic and food-safe once fully cured. Our serving and charcuterie boards are perfectly safe for presenting cheeses, meats, and fruits. When you order remind us to give you the safety information from the manufacturer of the resin and sealers we use.

A: Yes, the possibilities are nearly endless. We can create everything from "deep ocean" blues and "forest greens" to pearlescent metallics or even crystal-clear finishes. We’ll work with you to match the colour to your home’s palette. 

A: To keep your piece looking its best, avoid direct sunlight and harsh chemicals. For daily cleaning, a soft damp cloth with mild soap is perfect. We recommend applying a high-quality furniture wax or oil once or twice a year to keep the timber hydrated and glowing. 

A: While our boards are durable, we recommend using the timber side for heavy chopping and the resin/timber side for serving. Sharp knives can scratch the resin surface over time, dulling its high-gloss finish. 

A: Yes, we ship our smaller pieces (boards and décor) across Australia. For large furniture like dining tables, we use specialized furniture couriers to ensure your piece arrives safely. Please contact us for a shipping quote to your specific location. 

A: Definitely! If you are local, you are welcome to collect your finished piece directly from us. Just select the "Local Pickup" option during checkout or mention it during the commission process.
